Vinyl single from around the early 1950's -- on the Swiss Gloria label.The label-sleeve promises: "Gloria die billige Schweizer Qualitätsplatte", which translates to "Gloria the cheap Swiss quality record."
Fact is that the Swiss Gloria vinyl 45's got pressed on poor recycled vinyl, which of course resulted in BAD QUALITY.
Most of copies of this record most probably got trashed over the years, due to their bad looks: There are some uneven spots visible in the vinyl, because the Swiss pressing plant (Turicaphon AG) used to recycle their records with most of the labels still on.
This record used to sound, and play OK on some cheap old Mono turntable from around the early 50s. The record on the photos sounds a bit like a flexi-disc if played on some modern stereo equipment, due to the slightly uneven spots from the recyled vinyl pressing.
